A Bespoke SEND College Offering Real Skills, Real Pathways and Real Futures

Edintervention Post-16 College is a specialist setting designed for young people with SEND, autism, SEMH needs and communication differences who are ready to take the next step in their journey toward independence, employment and adulthood.
Purpose-built for learners who thrive in smaller, nurturing and highly practical environments, our Post-16 College offers vocational training in various elements of construction (brickwork, woodwork, tiling) delivered by experienced practitioners who understand the diverse learning needs of our students.
We empower young people to develop meaningful skills, gain recognised qualifications and build confidence in a place where they feel safe, supported and respected.

Work-based learning

Our vocational pathways are built around real work-based learning, giving students meaningful opportunities to develop practical skills in authentic settings. Through structured placements, employer-informed projects and on-site vocational activities, learners build confidence, independence and employability skills that prepare them for adult life, further training or supported employment.

CSCS Level 1 Health and Safety

All learners have the opportunity to complete the Level 1 Health and Safety in a Construction Environment qualification, supporting progression into construction and site-based roles. This course develops essential knowledge of workplace safety, risk awareness and industry expectations, and enables eligible learners to apply for the CSCS Labourer Card, helping remove barriers to entry into the construction sector.

Partnerships with Employers

We are proud to work with a growing network of local and national businesses who believe in inclusive employment and the potential of young people with SEND.
Through these partnerships, our learners have secured:
Apprenticeships
Supported internships
Work placements
Paid employment
Our employer links help students gain real experience, build workplace confidence and take meaningful steps into their future careers.
