Our Commitment to High Standards

Edintervention School is committed to providing an excellent standard of education, care and safeguarding for every young person. As a newly registered independent special school, we work closely with Ofsted to ensure that our provision meets all statutory requirements and reflects the very best practice in supporting pupils with SEMH, ASC, SLCN and associated needs.
Our values of Engage, Educate and Enjoy guide everything we do, and we are proud to build a school where guidance, growth and connection create a limitless future for every learner.

Ofsted Registration

Edintervention School is a fully registered Independent Specialist SEND School, approved by the Department for Education and regulated by Ofsted. Our Ofsted Unique Reference Number (URN) is 152171.
As a registered school, we meet all requirements set out in the Independent School Standards (ISS) and continue to work closely with Ofsted to ensure the highest levels of safety, quality and compliance across our provision. We are committed to maintaining an environment where every young person is safeguarded, supported and able to thrive.

Our First Ofsted Inspection

As a new school, we expect to receive our first Ofsted inspection within the statutory timeframe following opening. Until that point, we continue to:
Uphold the Independent School Standards (ISS) across all areas
Maintain rigorous safeguarding procedures and safer recruitment practices
Deliver an ambitious and personalised curriculum for Key Stage 4
Provide high-quality pastoral and therapeutic support
Monitor and evaluate the impact of our provision on pupil progress, wellbeing and engagement
Work in close partnership with families, carers and placing local authorities
Our ongoing self-evaluation, improvement planning and leadership oversight ensure that we remain Ofsted-ready every day.

When Reports Become Available

When our first inspection takes place:
The full Ofsted report will be published on the Ofsted website
A copy will be added to this page for parents, carers and professionals
We will also share a summary of key findings and next steps
We are committed to transparency and will always communicate inspection outcomes clearly.

Monitoring Quality and Performance

Even before our first inspection, we have strong systems for evaluating the quality of education and care, including:
Termly internal reviews of teaching and learning
Safeguarding audits
Curriculum and assessment monitoring
Behaviour, attendance and wellbeing data
Pupil voice and parent/carer feedback
External challenge and support where appropriate
These processes help us sustain high standards and ensure every child receives the support they need to thrive.

We always encourage feedback from parents and carers. Parents and carers can contact Ofsted directly if they wish to:
