Students Supporting the Local Community
As part of the school’s commitment to personal development and community engagement, students from the Hub took part in a range of fundraising activities, including sponsored silences, sponsored walks and other challenges.
Through these activities, students raised nearly £700 to support Salford Foodbank and to provide toys for local children through Mission Christmas Cash for Kids. This work helped address local need and strengthened the school’s links with the wider community.
Participation in community-focused initiatives supports students to develop empathy, resilience and a strong sense of social responsibility. It also provides meaningful opportunities for students to contribute positively beyond the school environment, reflecting the school’s values and commitment to preparing pupils to be responsible, active citizens.
